If you are a fan of the 80’s puzzle games, then you are going to absolutely adore this one. Wriggle is a cute puzzle game, where your soul goal is to set free a little blue worm with as less moves as possible. The gameplay is easy, you can easily undo a wrong move, or jump from puzzle to puzzle whenever you feel like it. The graphics are simple, colorful and extremely charming. Everything from the menus, the puzzle navigation panel even to the display of earned achievements fits this theme. The music and the game’s sound effects are as charming as the graphics. But if you don’t like what the game has to offer, you can simply turn of the sound and listen to something of your own liking. There are achievements if you complete a puzzle with a gold or silver medal. These achievements are displayed in a trophy rack area from where you can see exactly what you have earned up that moment, and what lies ahead of you in the near future. The puzzles are another area that give a huge plus to this game. Needless to say that the difficulty level increases as you make you progress through the game. You must solve at least 50 % of the current difficulty’s puzzles so you can move forward to the next one, and so on. This is a great idea, and it gives a constant challenge to this game. Variety between the puzzles is another standout. At each level of difficulty you face a wide range of varieties of puzzle layouts. Some of them have four different worms, while others have two, or maybe three, and others may have only one worm. Even though they are rather similar in their appearance, here you learn that looks can be deceiving in the sense that these puzzles can really have you stumped if you are aiming for the gold medal. Since the rules and the gameplay are familiar there is nothing left to do but to download this game and see what it’s made off.
