Rubber Knife Throw ipod app is easy to pick up and put down, easy to learn, and mildly entertaining for those casual, quiet moments in life when you’re in between duties and looking around for something to do.Despite the words like “knife” and “throw” representing anything but quietude and relaxation,you’d be surprised at how much still concentration you achieve when playing this game.Rubber Knife Throw is surprisingly fun game, with surprisingly good graphics.The graphics are fairly top notch, with smooth animations – even the Help screen is impressive, with info pages floating around in a black abyss for you to fiddle around with and bring closer to read.You have the option to select either a “chick” or “dude” to be your assistant affixed to the revolving wheel, and you may choose a difficulty of easy, normal or nightmare.Your dude assistant, you should choose is a male, clad in skintight leather pants and an accompanying skintight white muscle shirt, his arms akimbo, legs spread eagle, and his eyes staring at you in cool concentration, his lips parted almost in a smile.The chick, or female, is your typical bombshell – blonde, tan, taut and firm, with skintight, breast enhancing bustier and exposed midriff.She wears black leggings beneath a fluttering miniskirt, and dons these gladiator wedges with zigzagging, yellow laces that look as if they’d be a real pain to put on.The wheel upon which your assistant is affixed is wooden, with some painted details, and plenty of yellow, red, and blue balloons that pop up magically, along with the odd bomb, and ticking clock, which you must disarm and hit for more time, respectively.The wheel changes direction sporadically, and new balloons pop up faster, and in more numbers, each time you clear the board; bombs become more spread out, and eventually become parabombs, a trickier version of the first bombs.Should you ever throw a knife mistakenly on your assistant, or should a bomb explode without your disarming it, a point is taken away for your indiscretion.Throwing the knife, itself, is really easy to learn – simple hold down your thumb on the lower right corner of the screen to zoom in, a bullseye appearing to aim with, and then tap with your other thumb on the lower left once your aim is on target.There’s no denying the slight sadism to the game, with its darkly saturated colors, sexualized characters, and brooding music.You will almost feel that if you were given a chance to look around the room, away from the room, you would see people laying on needle beds, others stepping upon then, and more leather clad people with whips.This game is the dark side of the circus,so if you love darkness and mystery try it,you won’t regret.

This is in fact a tower defense game and you’ll get every single tower defense trope you’ve ever run into.There are plenty of towers to utilize, a number of different hostile threats to annihilate, lots of winding paths for them to mindlessly file into and a base (sometimes several) that needs protecting.The core campaign takes the preset route approach, where you’ll set up your units on a grid and the enemies will take a predestined path. There are, however, seven different challenge stages that offer more variety, including several that utilize free form defense where you create the enemy paths by obstructing the enemy’s movements.Enemy diversity is limited to slow, fast, and slow then exploding-into-fast-creatures.Killing enemies and shooting at certain environmental structures yield crystals that can be turned into more units.Some of the stages have actual resource-gathering units associated with them, but don’t expect it to be a major part of the experience.The limited units and enemy types means each stage has a relatively restricted number of ways to complete it, which is altered slightly based on the difficulty setting you choose.There are three difficulty settings, each changing the number of enemies, your starting resources or the score awarded.There are also four different game modes, the standard defense mode, a survival mode, a resource gathering mode and an attack mode.The first three are pretty self-explanatory, but the attack mode changes the dynamic of the game in an unusual way.You’ll have to defend by setting up towers as you usually would, but you’ll also have to expand through the level to get your units close enough to a boss to attack it.Tower Defense: Lost Earth is also incredible-looking game.The graphics strike that perfect balance between stylized, cartoony and serious.Each turret looks colorful and distinct, telling the difference between stock and upgraded placements is a snap, they’re even fun to watch as they tear hostile alien creatures to shreds.It also supports “pinching” to adjust the zoom;whether it’s in order to get a better look at the battlefield or just to ogle the great-looking critters and critter-blasters.Tower Defense: Lost Earth is a fantastic game.One that genre lovers and armchair generals should not miss.Even people who don’t generally care for tower defense games might want to give it a try with it.
